Characteristic competition tracks
Areas relating to big data, cloud computing, blockchain technology, cyber space security, industrial Internet, intelligent control, new generation of information communication, quantum technology, smart cities, Internet of Things, integration of virtual reality and the real economy, metaverse, aerospace information, etc.
Areas relating to new energy vehicles, nanotechnology, advanced rail transportation equipment, intelligent manufacturing equipment, aerospace equipment, instrumentation, unmanned driving, high-end numerical control machine tools and robots, smart grid, key technologies and core components of high-end energy equipment, etc.
Areas relating to perovskite solar cells, high-performance composite materials, high-temperature superconducting materials, new electronic materials, synthetic resins and engineering plastics, chemical raw materials and products, pharmaceutical materials and products, non-metallic mineral materials and products, black (non-ferrous) metal smelting, calendering materials and metal products, etc.
Areas relating to biopharmaceuticals, high-end pharmaceutical preparations, high-end medical devices, brain science, gene editing, precision medicine, cell therapy, smart healthcare, remote medical care, rehabilitation equipment, IVD(in vitro diagnosis, biological diagnosis, modernization of traditional Chinese medicine, medical food, detection and treatment, etc.

Preliminary Competition Awards and Bonuses
Each competition area sets 5 award-winning projects with a bonus of 30,000 RMB/person (pre-tax, with certificate);
10 finalist awards with a bonus of 10,000 RMB /person (pre-tax,with certificate), totaling 210 awards.

Final Awards and Bonuses
The Preliminary Area Final sets 10 first prizes with a bonus of 50,000 RMB/person (pre-tax, with certificate);
15 second prizes with a bonus of 30,000 RMB/person (pre-tax, with certificate);
25 third prizes with a bonus of 20,000 RMB/person(pre-tax, with certificate), totaling 50 awards.
Awards for expert nomination will be set up according to the project quality and expert comprehensive argumentation, with a bonus of 10,000 RMB /person (pre-tax, with certificate).
15 second prizes with a bonus of 30,000 RMB/person (pre-tax, with certificate);
25 third prizes with a bonus of 20,000 RMB/person(pre-tax, with certificate), totaling 50 awards.

final characteristic track awards
Each characteristic track(excluding the final competition winning projects of the outstanding talents innovation, entrepreneurship, and wealth creation in rural revitalization track,special track for industrial skilled talents) will be given about 6 final competition awards according to the project quality and comprehensive expert argumentation results.

If the final award-winning projects being implemented in Jinan within one year (excluding the final competition winning projects of the outstanding talents innovation, entrepreneurship, and wealth creation in rural revitalization track,special track for industrial skilled talents) are in line with the basic application conditions for Jinan's leading talent introduction policies, they will be directly included in the management of municipal-level key talent projects after on-site inspection and comprehensive argumentation. They will receive corresponding financial support.
A project database for the competition will be established. Municipal units, districts, counties, and parks will designate service commissioners and provide green channels for the projects. The talent and S&T support policies, industrial development support funds, land guarantee policies will be accessible to track the projects’ registration, office space, enterprise planning, personnel recruitment, and investment and financing guarantees, providing comprehensive project landing services.
1、General Terms
(1)Participants should be high-level talents with innovative achievements and innovative entrepreneurial plans. The technological achievements should be aligned with Jinan's industrial development and take a lead domestically or internationally.
(2)Participating projects should be innovative and have commercial potential. The proposed achievements, products, or technologies should comply with national laws, regulations and industrial policies. Besides, participants should be free of intellectual property disputes.
(3)Participants should choose either Industrial Competition Area or Characteristic Tracks. Registration for both will lead to disqualification from the competition.
(4)Applicants from other areas except Jinan with no social security payment in Jinan are acceptable. The project shall not have registered in Jinan in the duration of registration for the event (or prior to Jan.1, 2024) while have the intention to get itself materialized in the Jinan within 1 year since the event.
(5)Previous prize-winning talents and projects of the event are not allowed for this year.
2、Specific Participation Conditions
(1)Domestic Competition Zones
a.Participants shall have some entrepreneurial experience and possess strong innovation and entrepreneurship spirit as well as capabilities in technology transformation, market development, management, and resource integration.
b.Returned overseas students shall sign up in domestic competition zones.
(2)Overseas Competition Zones
a.Participants shall have master's degree or above.
b.Participants shall have worked in well-known overseas universities, research institutions, or foreign companies, and served as project leaders in major industrial technology development, results transformation, and industrialization projects. For those exceptional participants, we may appropriately relax the restrictions.
(3)Characteristic Tracks
Participants shall have some innovation and entrepreneurship experience, possess strong innovation and entrepreneurship spirit as well as capabilities in technology transformation, market development, management, and resource integration. (All participation conditions are detailed in the work plan for characteristic track.)
